Tennessee will travel to Ohio State in the first round of the college football playoffs in just over a week, and this week, a scandal broke out between both fanbases.
During Tuesday’s season ticket holder presale, a Buckeye season ticker holder released a code to get into the ticket section, and Tennessee fans got their hands on it.
Tennessee Fans Will Take Over Ohio State
It seems like many Volunteers fans got their hands on the code, and many of them will be traveling from the south to attend the game.
On Thursday, College Football Analyst Barrett Sallee tweeted,” Best guess: 35% of the Tennessee – Ohio State game crowd will be Tennessee fans. That’d be insane for a road game.”

It sounds like there will be about 35 to 40% Volunteer fans at the game, and that is going to be a significant problem for Ohio State since Buckeye fans have a problem being loud as it is, and if you bring in a ton of fans from other fanbases, then it might not feel like a home crowd.
This matchup will be the best of the first round. It should be a game that goes down to the wire, and whoever has the ball last might come out on top.
