Green Bay Packers fans were holding their breathe a little on Friday when it was reported that their star new running back Josh Jacobs was involved in a minor motorbiking accident. The running back was reportedly driving an ATV with a dirt bike attached on the back. The dirt bike flipped sending the ride into the air and luckily on to the grass on the side of the road.

Thankfully, it appears that the star running back came out of the incident without an injury, which is most important. However, numerous fans have questioned why Jacobs was doing something dangerous in the first place. While it is totally normal to have some fun in the off season, a pro athlete needs their body more than anything.
“Why are you doing [this] as a highly paid pro athlete,” one fan asked.
“What in the hell did I just watch,” asked another fan.
Jacobs was one of the biggest signings in the off season, and he is basically the Packers only big time option at running back after losing Aaron Jones to their division rival.
Josh Jacobs Outlook For 2024 Season
The Green Bay Packers over performed from what many thought they would in Jordan Love‘s first season. With a young team, the sky is the limit for the next few seasons. Jacobs signed a big time running back deal for four-year, $48 million deal with the Packers.
This team will be lead by a budding star at quarterback and now, one of the best running backs in the league. It is shocking, that while many teams are struggling after losing a great quarterback, the Packers are humming as per usual. Thankfully Jacobs walked away from this motor accident unharmed and will be totally fine for training camp and the season.
