If they pull it off this season, it will be the first time it has happened. Mahomes this season has completed 66.7% of his passes for 3,348 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions this season. He also has rushed for 262 yards on 52 carries and one touchdown, along with averaging 5.0 yards per carry.
ESPN’s Chris Canty Compares Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes To Michael Jordan
ESPN’s Chris Canty went onto First Take on Friday Morning to talk about the game status of Mahomes on Saturday against the Houston Texans. Many are wondering if he will play this weekend or not after being at practice this weekend. Canty said about the star quarterback:
“Patrick Mahomes is the Michael Jordan of the NFL.”
This is such a crazy comment from Canty. If Mahomes does win another title this year, it would be his fourth ring and he will probably win another MVP in the Super Bowl. The thing is that Patrick Mahomes is 3-1 in Super Bowl appearances and Michael Jordan was 6-for-6 in NBA Finals appearances and also had several NBA Finals Trophies.
Also with Canty making that comment, did he forget about Tom Brady who won seven rings and also beat Mahomes in the Super Bowl? Brady is 7-for-10 in the Super Bowl and also won several MVPs in the Super Bowl. Sorry to say this to the Mahomes lovers out there but Brady is better than Mahomes is.

A lot of people seem to forget that the Chiefs are 13-1 because of the defense and the referees and not all because of Patrick Mahomes. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is most likely going to win the MVP Award this season. Lastly, Mahomes being compared to Michael Jordan is blasphemous.
