The New York Giants have an intriguing mix of assets in the quarterback room. There’s a good balance of experience and youth among the group. Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston are the vets who have seen a lot in the league, while Jaxson Dart and Tommy DeVito compose the other half of the room as the young guys on the QB depth chart.
Wilson is expected to be the Giants’ chief option under center, with Winston possibly the main backup. In any case, it appears that all four of the Giants’ quarterbacks are having a good time in the offseason working on their chemistry. DeVito even shared that he and Dart watch and talk about a reality show that perhaps not many people expect that the quarterbacks follow.
“I can’t say we do it every night, but from time to time if we get an off day,” DeVito said Wednesday amid the Giants’ minicamp (via Dennis Waszak Jr. of the Associated Press). “Yeah, we watch it, we talk about it.”
DeVito also dropped a hint about the possibility of him and the rookie QB joining the show.
“Me and Jaxson might go on ‘Love Island,’” DeVito added. “We’ve talked about it. So, you really don’t know what’s about to happen.”
Jaxson Dart puts focus on what he can control amid QB competition

The quarterback competition behind Wilson will heat up in the training camp, as DeVito and Dart can prove themselves worthy of the role over the much more experienced Winston. But for Dart, he’s not looking ahead, as he continues to familiarize himself with the pro environment.
“They’ve had this blueprint and they’ve done it with different quarterbacks and you’ve seen them succeed at the highest level, so I trust them,” the former Ole Miss signal-caller said. “For me, I’m just trying to be the most coachable player that I can. I want to play well in the offense. I want to be able to manage it and operate it at the highest level. I know that they definitely do have a plan. I’m just trying to take it day by day and I’m not looking for results immediately.”
