The New York Giants have been very busy this offseason. As the franchise looks to work its way back into playoff contention, the front office has been adding quite a few pieces to the roster.

Most notably, Russell Wilson was signed to be the new starting quarterback. Jameis Winston was also signed to be his backup, although the rumors connecting the Giants to Shedeur Sanders have continued to swirl.

Outside of the quarterback position, New York has made plenty of other moves as well. Among those moves are the additions of cornerback Paulson Adebo, safety Jevon Holland, offensive lineman James Hudson III, and the re-signing of wide receiver Darius Slayton.

Those moves look great on the outside looking in.

All of that being said, the Giants have now been predicted to land an intriguing 3,500-yard wide receiver and add him into the mix of weapons for Wilson or whoever the quarterback ends up being.

Vinnie Iyer of The Sporting News has made an intriguing projection for New York at the top of the third round. He has the team taking Ole Miss wide receiver Tre Harris with the No. 65 overall pick.

“The Giants also could benefit from giving Malik Nabers a good complementary target beyond reliable veteran Darius Slayton. Harris’ size and possession work make him a fine fit.”

Harris is fresh off of an impressive college career split between Louisiana Tech and Ole Miss. In the 51 career games that he played in college, Harris racked up 220 receptions for 3,532 yards and 29 touchdowns.

Standing in at 6-foot-2 and a shade over 200 pounds, Harris would be a perfect long-term running mate for Malik Nabers. Add in Slayton and the Giants would have a dynamic three-headed monster at the wide receiver position.

Of course, this is just a prediction. However, it’s one that New York should have a lot of interest in turning into a reality if it has a chance to do so.
