New York Giants: Jermaine Eluemunor Responds To the Presidential Debate

New York Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor was signed as a free agent this offseason. He played with the Las Vegas Raiders last season. Eluemunor is projected to be the starting left guard this season for the Giants and play on the same side as left tackle Andrew Thomas.

One of the weaknesses a season ago for the New York Giants was the offensive line. They fired Bobby Johnson as the offensive line coach and Camren Bricillo is the new offensive line coach. Bricillio knows Eluemunor well from his time with the Raiders. He had the Raiders’ offensive line as one of the better units in the NFL and the Giants’ unit can not be any worse than what it what a season ago.

However, one of the more interesting things that has happened so far this season was the Presidential Debate on Thursday on CNN between President Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Eluemunor and other NFL players were watching the debate.

Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor had something to say on his Twitter page on Thursday night about this debate. This is what he had to say about the debate on Thursday night:

Why are there never any young candidates running for president in America ?

    — Jermaine Eluemunor (@JEluemunor) June 28, 2024

He is not the only person to think this way about the Presidential debate. Donald Trump is currently 78 years old and Joe Biden is currently 81 years old.

There have been talks about potentially replacing Joe Biden, but the odds are he probably will not drop out of the race. A lot of people are wondering how we got to this point. Well, it is going to be a lot different with the 2028 election.

Ron DeSantis would most likely be the Republican nominee in 2028 for the Presidential Election. He is only 45 years old now and won’t even be 50 years old yet by the time the next election rolls around. As for the Democratic Party, it would most likely be Gavin Newsome. He is 56 years old. Newsome would be close to 60 years old then but he sounds much sharper at the podium compared to what we have now.

New York Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor would love to see someone younger to run for office. Other players across the NFL would feel the same way also. There are also a lot of other issues in this country.
