The New York Giants are 2-5 to start the 2024 season after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 28-3 at home on Sunday afternoon. The offense looks inept with Daniel Jones at quarterback and many fans believe that owner John Mara is responsible for the Giants giving Jones that contract.
Ever since winning Super Bowl XLVI against the New England Patriots, the Giants have only been in the postseason twice. Many fans have been frustrated with John Mara this season and also in the past.
New York Giants Fans Call For John Mara To Sell the Team After Its Latest Loss Against the Philadelphia Eagles
During the offseason, the Giants were featured on Hard Knocks. In one of the episodes, John Mara mentioned that he would have trouble sleeping if Saquon Barkley left for a divisional rival. Well not only did he leave for a divisional rival in the Philadelphia Eagles, Barkley torched the Giants.
Many fans are frustrated that general manager Joe Schoen decided to double down on Daniel Jones and not pay Saquon Barkley. Here is what the New York Giants fanbase said about Mara:

The thing is that Mara may not be the worst owner in New York sports. Woody Johnson of the New York Jets has been worse than John Mara has been lately.
Haven’t Been the Same Since Tom Coughlin Left
Joe Schoen is the current New York Giants general manager. Believe it or not, Daboll and Schoen have provided the most stability to the organization ever since Tom Coughlin left. If John Mara got rid of Daboll and Schoen at the end of the season, it would be the same issue with the franchise. Everything starts at the top with this team and it may be time for him to sell the team.
