The New York Giants are heading into 2024 with a ton of question marks. The team will be sticking with Daniel Jones at quarterback for (at least) the 2024 season. Their top draft pick, Malik Nabers, has a chance to be one of the best rookies in the NFL this season.
However, the Giants received some not so positive news from the league regarding additions to their team in the future.
The New York Giants Gets Harsh News From The League

According to Matthew Schmidt of NFL Analysis:
The New York Giants are actually sort of a wild card heading into the 2024 NFL season.
They certainly weren’t great last year, going 6-11, but they do have some intriguing talent—particularly on the defensive side of the ball—and, on paper, look considerably better than they did in 2023.
However, Bleacher Report’s Alex Ballentine apparently does not think too much of the Giants with training camp just around the corner.
In a piece where Ballentine listed off his least desirable destinations in the league, he had New York ranked No. 1—meaning the worst possible spot to land.
Ballentine cites the uncertainty surrounding the coaching staff as a big reason why. Brian Daboll could very well be on the hot seat, and Big Blue has brought in a new defensive coordinator in Shane Bowen.
He also notes that the Giants don’t exactly have the greatest financial situation, specifying the massive cap hits of Dexter Lawrence, Brian Burns and Andrew Thomas plus the fact that Daniel Jones is slated to earn $41.6 million in 2024.
But is New York really the worst landing spot for NFL players? Seems like a bit of an exaggeration.
Are The Giants Really That Bad Of A Destination?

The Giants went 9-7-1 just two seasons ago and upset the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card Round.
In the ensuing offseason, New York gave Jones a contract worth $160 million over four years. A move that many think the team currently regrets.
In just six games last year, Jones threw two touchdowns and six interceptions, totaling two passing touchdowns and six interceptions.
Despite this, Jones played pretty well in 2022, and it should be noted that he has never been on a team with a legitimate No. 1 wide receiver.
That is, until now.
The Giants will certainly be an interesting team to keep an eye on in 2024.
