The New England Patriots finished Week 2 of voluntary organized team activities (OTAs) last Friday and will have one more week of OTAs. Week 3 begins on Monday, June 3, and continues on Tuesday, June 4. After one day off, OTAs resume on Thursday, June 6, and end on Friday, June 7.
One of the major headlines surrounding the Patriots offseason is the competition for the left tackle spot.
The New England Patriots have an interesting LT competition
The LT spot is wide open after the Patriots let Trent Brown walk in free agency and released Conor McDermott.
The Patriots signed RT Chukwuma Okorafor and drafted RT Caedan Wallace in the 3rd round. Both players are the frontrunners for the starting spot, as Okorafor received first-team reps, while Wallace received second-team reps during OTAs.
Other players who are in the mix/competing for a roster spot include Vederian Lowe and Calvin Anderson.
The Patriots released an offensive tackle who was competing for a roster spot.
The New England Patriots released their former 7th-round pick
According to Mike Reiss of ESPN NFL Nation, the Patriots waived Andrew Stueber.
The Patriots have informed OL Andrew Stueber of their plans to waive him.
Stueber, of Darien, Conn., was a seventh-round pick in 2022 out of Michigan.
He was vying for a backup spot on the line this year.

Andrew Stueber couldn’t find his footing in the NFL
The Patriots drafted Stueber in the 7th round, 245th overall of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Stueber missed spring practices and training camp because of a torn hamstring, and the Patriots placed him on the non-football injury list on August 23. He missed the entire rookie season.
The Patriots waived Stueber during roster cuts in his second season. He re-signed to their practice squad. He spent most of the season on the practice squad but was elevated to the active roster in their last two games but didn’t play in any snaps.
