The New England Patriots enter the offseason with a desperate need for pass rush help, especially an EDGE rusher, following a disappointing year. New England finished at the bottom in pressures, pressure percentage, QB hits, and sacks, ranking 30th in pressures (104), 29th in pressure percentage (17.6%), 30th in QB hits (33), and a league-worst 28 sacks. The Patriots’ top three leading sackers were Keion White with 16 QB hits and five sacks, Deatrich Wise Jr. (free agent) with eight QB hits and five sacks, and Anfernee Jennings with nine QB hits and 2.5 sacks.
The team could be in the market for a veteran EDGE rusher who has played for Mike Vrabel, who was recently cut.

Landry entered the fourth year of his five-year, $87.5 million contract extension. He was set to earn a $17.5 million base salary and $0 guaranteed remaining, along with a $24.05 million cap hit in 2025 and 2026. The Pro Bowl EDGE rusher was recently granted permission to seek a trade. However, they were unable to find a trade suitor primarily because of his high cap hit.

Since he is familiar with Vrabel and they desperately need help at the EDGE, New England Patriots fans urge the team to sign Harold Landry.

Surprised they couldn’t find a trade for him. Him going to the Patriots and reuniting with Vrabel makes a lot of sense

Sure Mike Vrabel got the number on speed dial
