New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers was dealing with horrible quarterback play during his rookie season, but yet he was producing results no matter what. Nabers was the sixth overall pick from the LSU Tigers in the 2024 NFL Draft.

He was one of the best offensive rookies in the NFL during the 2024 season, but his college teammate quarterback Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders, won the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award in the NFL. Nabers in his second season in the NFL and he will look to have better quarterback play.
New York Giants Wide Receiver Malik Nabers Ranked #15 In PFF Top 25 Players Under 25 List Entering the 2025 NFL Season

Pro Football Focus writer Jonathon Macri wrote about the Top 25 players in the NFL who are under 25 years old. The Giants superstar wide receiver is only 21 years old. There is a chance that he could talked about as a top 10 wide receiver in the NFL after the 2025 NFL season concludes.
Macri listed Nabers as the 15th best player who is under 25 years old in the NFL. This may feel like a low ranking and there is a chance that he can climb up this list. Macri said about Nabers,
”
- Three-year grade: 87.0
- Snaps played since 2022: 882
- Average WAR since 2022: 0.56
Nabers is the closest rookie receiving threat to Brock Bowers coming out of 2024, and depending on which metric you want to favor, there’s a reasonable argument he could be ahead of him on this list. In a stacked 2024 rookie wide receiver class, Nabers was the best of the bunch, leading the group in PFF receiving grade (87.1) and targets (165) — both top-10 marks for the position.
Nabers was also the only rookie wide receiver to crack the top 10 in PFF WAR in 2024, ranking as the Giants’ most valuable player in that regard by a significant margin.”
During the 2024 NFL season with the Giants, he caught 109 passes for 1,204 yards receiving and seven touchdowns, along with averaging 11.0 yards per reception. He was fifth in the NFL in receptions last season and was seventh in the NFL last season in receiving yards.
Nabers was also targeted 170 times. He was catching passes from Daniel Jones, Tommy DeVito, Drew Lock, and Tim Boyle in 2024. In 2025, the Giants quarterbacks on the roster other than DeVito are Russell Wilson, Jaxson Dart, and Jameis Winston. If he put up numbers with bad quarterback play, is there a chance that Nabers will put over 1,500 yards receiving in 2025? It remains to be seen what New York’s offense will do, but he is going to be one of the top receivers in the NFL by end of the 2025 season.
