Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns will be meeting the Baltimore Ravens at the end of this week for the final game of the regular season. Garrett was recently quizzed about his plans to take on the Ravens’ star Lamar Jackson, and his response was understandable. The Cleveland Browns have not had a stellar season so far, and are at the tail-end of the AFC North after winning only three games and losing 13 this season.
On the other hand, the Baltimore Ravens are ranked no. 1 in the AFC North with a current 11-5 record. In their most recent matchup, the Ravens took on the Houston Texans and defeated them with an impressive 31-2 score. In that game, quarterback Lamar Jackson attempted 15 passes and completed ten of them for 168 yards, scoring twice. Jackson, who is a potential candidate for the MVP award, has managed 3,955 yards this season with 39 touchdowns and four interceptions.
“Now you’re like, s**t we don’t know what to do.” Garrett told Andrew Siciliano.
Myles Garrett says that early in the season the goal was to keep Lamar Jackson in the pocket.

Garrett says @Lj_era8 has lost “that baby weight” and is now “lean and fast as hell” again.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns were paired with the Miami Dolphins in the previous week and managed to lose the game with a final score of 20-3. In that game, Cleveland’s QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson went for 170 yards, completing 24 passes out of 47, while managing a solo interception, while D’Onta Foreman took charge of the rushing with 13 carries for 49 yards. Myles Garrett himself managed four tackles in that game.
Myles Garrett Named Starter For Pro Bowl 2025, Alongside Denzel Ward
On another positive note, Myles Garrett was recently named for the Pro Bowl, making it the sixth in his career. Garrett has been enjoying a pretty impressive season so far, even if his team, the Cleveland Browns, are struggling as a unit. Garrett responded to his being selected for the Pro Bowl with happiness, especially at the thought of playing alongside other talented footballers.
“It’s special. I’m grateful for every single (selection). Always excited to go out there and see some of the very best. I know some of those guys pretty well and being around greatness, that’s rare. So, I just try to take what I can from the experience and like I said, not take it for granted.” Garrett said.
As of now, Garrett has the most tackles for loss in the NFL with 21 to his name, and is also tied in the league for sacks. Apparently, when compared to his performance in the previous season, Garrett’s numbers this year are much better.
