Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is one of the elite wide receivers in the NFL. A season ago, he only played in 10 games because of injuries. Jefferson caught 68 passes for 1,074 yards receiving and five touchdowns, along with averaging 15.8 yards per catch. He was targeted 100 times last season. Despite missing all of that time last season, he was ranked 19th in the NFL in receiving yards a season ago.

Justin Jefferson was catching passes last season from Kirk Cousins, Nick Mullens, and Jaren Hall. This year, he will be mainly catching passes from Sam Darnold. Rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy will miss the entire 2024 season because of a torn meniscus. Mullens will be the backup quarterback for the Vikings this year after the McCarthy injury.

Jefferson will be entering his fifth NFL season and received a contract extension from the Vikings in the offseason. In the NFL Top 100, he was ranked 18th this past season and was ranked as the second-best player in the NFL the year before that.

FanDuel Sportsbook made a prop for the Vikings star wide receiver for the 2024 season. The over/under for his receiving total this season is 1300.5 yards. The over and the under are both -112 odds. In his first three seasons, he reached over 1300.5 yards receiving easily. The only time he didn’t reach it was last season because of his injury.

When Justin Jefferson is healthy, he has proven to be productive in the NFL. In his rookie season, he had 1,400 yards receiving. During his second season, he had 1,616 yards receiving. During his third NFL season, he reached 1,809 yards receiving. It feels like a slam dunk to bet on him going over 1300.5 yards at -112 odds because of how well he has played in his first four NFL seasons. Anytime he steps on that NFL field, Jefferson can go over 100 yards or more in a game at any moment.

The over/under touchdowns total for Jefferson by FanDuel Sportsbook for the 2024 season is an interesting bet. The over/under is 7.5 touchdowns. For the over, the odds are -102 odds and the under odds are -126. Justin Jefferson reached the over in his second and third seasons and did not reach the over in his rookie and fourth NFL season.

The Vikings have more players than just Jefferson on the roster who can reach the end zone. Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson can also score touchdowns for Minnesota. Even though he is a great wide receiver, bet the under 7.5 touchdowns for -126 odds.
