The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine officially began on Wednesday and runs through Sunday. Kickers, punters, and long snappers kicked things off on Wednesday, and the combine resumes today at 2:00 PM CT. This time, defensive linemen and linebackers will showcase their skills in front of head coaches, assistant coaches, scouts, and general managers.

Highlighting one of the many defensive linemen slated to work out today is the Michigan Wolverines‘ elite nose tackle.

Kenneth Grant was set to work out at the combine today. Grant had a great 2024 campaign, showcasing his abilities as a run-stopper and pass rusher, earning himself a Second-Team All-Big 10 selection. The projected first-round pick recorded 32 tackles, 22 stops, seven TFLs, 27 pressures, and three sacks, posting a 75.3 pass rush, an 87.5 run defense, and an 83.7 overall PFF grade in 12 games.

Unfortunately, the nose tackle is dealing with an injury.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, medical evaluation during the combine determined that Kenneth Grant is dealing with a hamstring strain. As a result, Grant won’t be participating during on-field drills today. However, the elite nose tackle prospect is expected to fully recover and be available for the Michigan Wolverines’ Pro Day on March 21.

#Michigan DT Kenneth Grant was found during Combine medical evaluations to have a hamstring strain, per me and @MikeGarafolo, and he won’t be participating in on-field drills today.
