Micah Parsons, linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, has some serious beef with the New York Giants after the team apparently overlooked him and instead went with Kadarius Toney. Parsons was interviewed by Bryant McFadden of CBS Sports recently, and admitted that he would ‘punish’ the Giants every time he met them on the field.
Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys finished the 2024 NFL season third in the NFC East with seven wins and ten defeats. In their last game of the season, the Cowboys played against the Washington Commanders in early January and lost the game, 23-19.
“No, bro, they lied to me. Yeah, people don’t know this. They told me, if I fell to 11, that they was gonna pick me. I swear. That’s why I punish the Giants every time. It’s personal … because when the Cowboys traded back, I was like, ‘Oh, shoot, I’m going to New York.” Micah Parsons said to Bryant McFadden on CBS Sports.

Micah Parsons was the 12th pick of the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft and was selected by the Dallas Cowboys, where he has been playing ever since. Before entering the NFL Draft, Parsons played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2018 to 2020. In the 2024 NFL season, the linebacker managed 30 solo tackles along with 12 sacks for the Cowboys, making up one of the best defenses in the league.
Micah Parsons Supports Dak Prescott Over Lamar Jackson
On the other hand, Micah Parsons also came out in support of Dak Prescott, quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, for the MVP Award. In a recent appearance on ‘Good Morning Football’, Parsons went on to say that while Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens quarterback, played with a team which had a very strong defense, it wasn’t the same scenario for Prescott.
“He didn’t have a Triple Crown defense, he didn’t have all that. But then the year Lamar puts up the same numbers Dak did, he’s a for sure kick-in for MVP.” Micah Parsons said on Good Morning Football.
Parsons echoed the same message on his X account and asked the “media to make their mind up” about the MVP award. Dak Prescott threw for 1,978 yards in the 2024 NFL season, scoring 11 touchdowns along with eight interceptions. Meanwhile, Baltimore’s quarterback Lamar Jackson managed 4,172 yards, with 41 touchdowns with four interceptions. Most recently, it was announced that Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills quarterback won the MVP award.
