The Miami Hurricanes, like many other teams, have seen a lot of players decide to test their luck in the transfer portal. Former top-50 recruit wide receiver, Frank Ladson has announced he is planning on entering the transfer portal.

Miami Hurricanes WR Frank Ladson Enters Transfer Portal
This is Ladson’s second time in the portal. He originally spent time at Clemson before transferring to Miami. The veteran receiver has never put up big individual numbers tallying only 58 catches and 726 yards during his time at both schools. He did not record a catch in 2023. Still, this does not mean he does not have value to a team. His veteran presence can bring a lot to a receiving room. This seems like a classic case of transferring for more playing time.
Absolute Chaos
While no one can officially sign with new teams, the portal intentions can be made public now. When the portal officially opens up, we will likely see a flurry of news again as players choose new programs. This is the nature of college football today. Programs with mediocre recruiting classes could still compete with the additions through the transfer portal. Many programs are looking for ready-to-go players who can make an impact on winning immediately.
Frank Ladson is one of many players looking for a new program. The Miami Hurricanes will no doubt try and nab some top players in the transfer portal as well.
