Seven USC Trojans were drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. Here they are:

    • QB Caleb Williams — No. 1 (first round) — Chicago Bears
    • S Calen Bullock — No. 78 (third round) — Houston Texans
    • RB Marshawn Lloyd — No. 88 (third round) — Green Bay Packers
    • OG Jarrett Kingston — No. 215 (sixth round) — San Francisco 49ers
    • WR Brenden Rice — No. 225 (seventh round) — Los Angeles Chargers
    • EDGE Solomon Byrd — No. 238 (seventh round) — Houston Texans
    • WR Tahj Washington — No. 241 (seventh round) — Miami Dolphins

Only seven schools had more players drafted than USC. Those schools, and the number of players they had drafted, are:

    1. Michigan — 13
    2. Texas — 11
    3. Alabama — 10
    4. Florida State — 10
    5. Washington — 10
    6. Penn State — 8
    7. Oregon — 8

Georgia and Notre Dame joined USC with seven players drafted.

Meet the seven Trojans drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft:

USC has more No. 1 overall draft picks than any other university. In the 2024 NFL Draft, Caleb Williams became the sixth Trojan to attain that distinction, when the Chicago Bears selected him.

Williams won the 2022 Heisman Trophy. He was a unanimous All-American.

    Calen Bullock

Calen Bullock was a four-star recruit out of high school. In his career at USC, he was twice named first-team All-Pac 12 as a safety and once named first-team All-American.

Bullock was a starter in all three seasons he played for USC. He had one year of college eligibility remaining when he entered the draft.

Per Bleacher Report, “When [Bullock] identifies the ball carrier, he quickly closes ground with great leverage while fighting through blockers and other traffic.”

Bullock was the fourth safety selected in the Draft. At 6’3″, he is one of the tallest safeties.

    MarShawn Lloyd

MarShawn Lloyd Lloyd played his college ball at both of the NCAA’s USCs. He played two seasons for the University of South Carolina and then transferred to the University of Southern California. Throughout his collegiate career, he rushed for 1,621 yards with 19 touchdowns. He averaged an impressive 5.6 yards per carry against elite competition in the SEC and Pac-12.

He had an impressive performance at the NFL Combine, raising his draft stock by running a 4.46 40-yard dash and turning in impressive vertical and broad jumps.

Lloyd was the fourth running back selected in the Draft.

Jarrett Kingston had a six-year college career. He started at Washington State, where he played in 37 games with 26 starts. Then, he transferred to USC, where he started in eleven of the twelve games in which he played.

Kingston started at four of the five spots along the offensive line. He started 16 games at left guard, ten at left tackle, six at right guard, and five at right tackle.

Kingston is 6’4″ and weighs 308 pounds.

    Solomon Byrd

EDGE rusher Solomon Byrd spent 2018 through 2021 at Wyoming, where he played in 23 games and recorded ten sacks. After earning his undergraduate degree at Wyoming, he transferred to Southern California.

Over two seasons with USC, Byrd appeared in 17 games, tallied 77 total tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, and ten sacks.

    Brenden Rice

The son of legendary wide receiver Jerry Rice, Brenden Rice decided to forego his final year of eligibility at USC and enter the 2024 NFL Draft.

Rice had the seventh most touchdown receptions in the country in the 2023 season, and he was second-team All-Pac 12.

    Tahj Washington

22-year-old Tahj Washington is 5’10” and weighs 174 lbs. He was a high school track star who has run the 40-yard dash in 4.32 seconds.

Washington was a three-star prospect coming out of high school in Texas. He began his collegiate career at Memphis, where, in 2020, he had 743 receiving yards, and led all freshmen in the country with six touchdown receptions. He was named a Freshman All-American.

Washington transferred to USC in 2021.

He was All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention in 2022. During the 2022 season, Washington racked up 785 receiving yards and hauled in six touchdown passes.

In 2023, his redshirt senior year at USC, Washington was on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List and had one of the best seasons by a wide receiver in the country. In the 2023 season, Washington had 59 receptions, including eight touchdowns. He had a total of 1,062 receiving yards, with an average of 18 yards per reception. His receiving yard total was the 23rd highest in the nation.
