Kelly Stafford, wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, had an unwanted experience when the couple went out on a dinner date. She told the story in Thursday’s episode of her “The Morning After” podcast with co-host Hank Winchester and guest, Oakland County circuit court judge Jake Cunningham.
Kelly recalled her and her husband visiting a Red Lobster restaurant to dine, only to experience a “dining disaster” that she said “scarred” her for life.
“We went to the Red Lobster in Athens, Georgia,” She said. “And there was a very out-of-shape man. And he was lifting up to fart and going back down. That has scarred me.”
She also talked about how her husband doesn’t like seeing things that could make him sick to his stomach while eating out.
“Matthew is very particular, like he sits down and sees something that could possibly make him feel nauseous, he can’t eat there. We sat down at IHOP, some man had brain surgery. It was like an open wound situation, and he [Matthew] was like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t eat here,’” she recalled.
Matthew Stafford’s wife shared her dining disaster story almost a week after cheering for him during their Week 3 game against the San Francisco 49ers at SoFi Stadium. She had a great time cheering for her husband while also having trouble evading 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk’s wife Kristin.
Matthew Stafford’s wife ditched Kristin Juszczyk’s wife
Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly opened up about avoiding Kyle Juszczyk’s wife Kristin at the 49ers-Rams game on Week 3. Apparently, it was due to Kelly challenging herself to design a game-day outfit like Kristin—and failing.
She talked about it with Kyra Stevens in last week’s episode of her “Timeout” podcast.
“Going to this game, I was like, ‘Let’s make shirts. Let’s be like Kristin!’” Kelly said. “As we made them, I was like, ‘This is embarrassing. I hope we don’t run into her with our ironed-on patches in our Amazon tanks.’ It was like a hot press. You guys know me, I’m not creative at all. I bought a sewing machine two years ago. Used it one time.”
Kelly continued, “Had no [expletive] idea what I was doing. During the game, all the patches started falling off,” Kelly said with a laugh. “I was like, ‘Guys, I just don’t know if this is our thing.’ We were like, ‘Please, God, don’t let us run into Kristin. She’d just be like, ‘Oh, no, no, no.'”
Kelly Stafford has been openly talking about her personal life in her podcasts. It was also in her platform that she revealed she went into therapy last month.
