Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams quarterback, recently expressed his opinion on Cooper Kupp’s exit from the team. Quite lately, the Los Angeles Rams announced that they are trading wide receiver Cooper Kupp. Stafford spoke to the media and remarked that Kupp has indeed been a “pillar of the organization and the community for a long time”.
The Los Angeles Rams are making crucial changes to their roster after failing to get a ticket to the Super Bowl. The Rams finished first in the NFC West with ten wins and seven defeats. In their last game of the season, the Rams took on the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL Divisional Round and lost the game with a final score of 28-22.
“It’s tough. I’ve been around long enough to know that anything is possible, but Cooper’s been a pillar of this organization and this community for a long time, since he got drafted here… Super Bowl MVP, the guys as good as it gets when it comes to making plays on the grass, but he’s probably even better in our locker room, in the meeting rooms, and obviously, as a family man. So, just lucky to get to spend the time that I got to spend with him. Probably spent more time with Cooper Kupp than any other teammate that I’ve ever had, as far as in the building and talking football and being about football. So I’ll miss him not being on the same team.” Matthew Stafford said to the media.

Matthew Stafford, who joined the Los Angeles Rams as quarterback back in 2021, threw for 3,762 yards in the 2024 NFL season, scoring 20 touchdowns with eight interceptions. The 36-year-old was the 1st pick in the very first round of the 2009 NFL Draft and joined the Detroit Lions where he played from 2009 to 2020. In 2021, Stafford moved to the Rams.
