Mason Taylor’s girlfriend, Sage Wagner, recently commented on a post by the New York Jets announcing her boyfriend arriving soon at the rookie minicamp. The NY Jets official Instagram account posted three adorable pictures of Taylor as a kid wearing a Jets jersey in different settings, including one at a game. In that picture, the new tight end can also be seen wearing face-paint with his hair cut in a Mohawk and dyed green to support his favorite team.
20-year-old Taylor played college football for the LSU Tigers from 2022 to 2024 before being selected by the New York Jets as the 42nd pick in the second round of the recent NFL draft. In his senior year for the LSU Tigers, Taylor managed a total of 55 receptions for 546 yards, scoring two touchdowns for the team.

Mason Taylor and Sage Wagner have been a couple since 2021, having started dating each other when they were only teenagers. Later this year, Taylor and Wagner will celebrate their fourth-year anniversary. Wagner has been a constant source of support for Taylor during his college football years and continues to support him as he stands to make his debut in the NFL.
In bringing Mason Taylor to their locker room, the New York Jets will be eager to improve their record in the upcoming NFL season. In the previous NFL season, the Jets finished third in the AFC East with five wins and 12 defeats.

It looks like Mason Taylor playing for the New York Jets someday was already written in the stars a long time ago. Since he was always a Jets fan, Taylor admitted that he was taken by surprise when it was announced that he would be playing for New York.
Way before the 2025 NFL draft, the New York Jets were already making plans to draft Mason Taylor. However, it seems like Taylor had no clue as to what was going on. Taylor is definitely expected to shake up the mixture in the Jets roster and will help them improve their rankings in the upcoming NFL season. Standing at 6’5”, Taylor will prove to be a menace for any opponent on the field.
