Mason Graham, defensive tackle, was selected by the Cleveland Browns at the No. 5 position in the recent draft. The Browns went the extra mile to make sure that they get Graham and traded with the Jacksonville Jaguars from their original No. 2 pick. Graham’s girlfriend, Serena Nyambio, could not believe the news and took to Instagram to share her joy in her boyfriend soon playing in the NFL.
Graham played college football for the Michigan Wolverines from 2022 to 2024. In his senior year with the team, Graham managed to contribute 24 solo tackles with 3.5 sacks for the Wolverines.
“Shut Uppp!!!” Serena Nyambio captioned her Instagram post, sharing two pictures of herself and Graham celebrating him going to the Browns.
Mason Graham and Serena Nyambio went Instagram-official last year when Nyambio posted a bunch of pictures with him attending the ESPYs. The two were at Michigan together and Nyambio is currently a volleyball player for the university’s team.
The Cleveland Browns are desperate to do better in the 2025 NFL season after doing abysmally last year. In the previous season, the Browns finished at the bottom of the AFC North after winning only three games and losing 14. The Browns played their very last game of the season against the Baltimore Ravens, losing with a final score of 35-10.
Mason Graham’s Selection By Cleveland Browns Criticized By Fans
Not everyone was happy with the Cleveland Browns picking Mason Graham in the first round of the NFL draft, especially the fans. After it was announced that the Browns traded with the Jaguars for the No. 5 spot to pick Graham, fans took to social media to condemn the team for the move.
Several fans expressed that the Browns had a solid chance of bringing in other stars like Travis Hunter or even Abdul Carter, but ruined their future with their decision to go with Graham. Some fans even went on to call out the general manager of the team, Andrew Berry, and asked him to resign from his post.
The Cleveland Browns definitely need a solid quarterback, but also have needs in the defensive area for which Graham will be a terrific solution. Some experts believe that the Browns will wait to bring Shedeur Sanders, the youngest son of Deion Sanders, who might come up in the second or third rounds of the draft. Sanders last played as a quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes.
