The over/under is set at 60.5 points, while the Tigers are 3-point favorites.
The LSU Tigers junior had a solid first season as the starting quarterback
Tigers’ redshirt junior Garrett Nussmeier had a solid first season as the starting quarterback, replacing the great and former Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels. Nussmeier completed 313 out of 491 pass attempts (63.7%) for 3,739 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, and an 8-4 record in his lone season as the starter. He averaged 7.6 yards per attempt, 11.9 yards per completion, and 311.6 yards per game, along with a 140.7 passer rating.
The star signal-caller reveals his plans for 2025
Garrett Nussmeier announced on X that he would return to LSU Tigers for his final year of college eligibility instead of declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. Here’s what the star signal-caller had to say in his one-minute and 41-second video.

Nussmeier decided to stick around for another season in Baton Rouge to strengthen his draft stock and have a better chance of being selected high in 2026. Since he’s only started one season, it is far from ideal for a quarterback prospect. He should be considered the top quarterback prospect and a first-round pick for the 2026 NFL Draft.
