The Los Angeles Rams wide receiver position will look different next season. General Manager Les Snead implied that Demarcus Robinson’s legal trouble would prevent Los Angeles from re-signing him. Robinson was charged in January with one misdemeanor count for driving under the influence stemming from an arrest for DUI in November. As a result, the veteran receiver may be suspended in 2025.

The Los Angeles Rams are actively shopping their All-Pro receiver

All-Pro receiver Cooper Kupp released a statement on X in early February, stating that the Rams informed him that they would be actively looking to trade him this offseason after battling injuries over the past three seasons. Kupp commands a $12.5 million base salary along with a $29.78 million hit in 2025. During Wednesday’s press conference, Les Snead told the media that retaining their Super Bowl MVP is the ”least likely” scenario.
I was informed that the team will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA.

Los Angeles Rams sign offensive weapon to fully guaranteed contract in 2025

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Rams and Tutu Atwell have agreed to a one-year fully guaranteed contract. As Rapoport points out, the deal is worth $10 million fully guaranteed, with a $5 million fully guaranteed base salary and a $5 million fully guaranteed signing bonus.

The former second-round pick has had a minimal role at this point

Tutu Atwell has had a minimal role on offense in his first four seasons, starting 23 out of 54 regular season games, and has only played more than 50% of snaps once, in 2023. Atwell is coming off his best statistical season, notching career-highs in receptions, receiving yards, receptions per game, and receiving yards per game. He caught 42 passes on 62 targets for 562 yards, averaging 2.5 receptions per game, 13.4 yards per reception, 9.1 yards per target, and 33.1 yards per game in 17 games and five starts. He also had one catch for 18 yards in the postseason.
Although he has had a minimal role on offense to start his career, the expectation is for Atwell to receive more targets and playing time with Demarcus Robinson and Cooper Kupp, who are not expected to be on the roster next season.
