Los Angeles Chargers hosted veteran TE for a visit

The Chargers hosted 29-year-old tight end Tyler Conklin for a visit yesterday. Conklin spent the last three years with the New York Jets, catching 170 passes on 246 targets for 1,622 yards and seven touchdowns in 50 games and 43 starts. He caught 51 passes on 72 targets for 449 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games and 15 starts in 2024.
Signing Conklin would bolster their tight-end depth and provide Justin Herbert with a reliable safety blanket.
