Lawrence Guy, NFL defensive tackle, is on the hunt for a new football team to call home, and apparently would love to play for the Kansas City Chiefs in the upcoming season. Guy recently appeared on the ‘Up & Adams Show’ and spoke about his aspirations for his future in the league, highlighting the Chiefs as his dream team.
In the previous season, Guy played for the Cincinnati Bengals but did not chalk up anything for the team. Guy is a true veteran, having been in the league since 2011 after being selected by the Green Bay Packers as the 233rd pick in the seventh round of the draft. Since then, Guy has moved around quite a bit and played the longest with the New England Patriot,s with whom he had a four-year deal.
“I love Kansas City. I have relationships with the linebackers coach and coordinator, D-line coach. There’s a lot of people that I know throughout the years, it’s just one of those things that like, hey, they have to go through their offseason, right? You have to see who you brought in, who you drafted. He’s trying to free agency. What’s working on. But I love the idea of going to Kansas City.” Lawrence Guy spoke about his love for Kansas City and his hopes on playing for the Chiefs on the ‘Up & Adams Show’ with Kay Adams.

Before making it to the NFL, Lawrence Guy played college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils. In his football career until now, the defensive tackle has won the Super Bowl once during his time with the New England Patriots.

Lawrence Guy Also Expresses Interest In Pittsburgh Steelers
However, it seems like Lawrence Guy has a couple more options in his mind other than just the Kansas City Chiefs. A few weeks back, the defensive tackle also mentioned that he would like to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Despite having played for several teams in the NFL, Guy has not played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. If he does indeed join the Steelers, the team will be lucky to add him to their defense. The Steelers have an incredible roster for their upcoming NFL season, but have yet to add an experienced quarterback to their locker room. The team is holding on to the hope that veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers will join them soon enough to help them improve their record from the previous NFL season.
