What do Ole Miss football head coach Lane Kiffin, former United States President Donald J. Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Ohio Senator JD Vance have in common? They are being sued for a large amount of money in the United States District Court for the North District of Alabama. Amanda Anne Keller of Birmingham, Alabama, will look to receive upwards of ‘$6 gazillion’ in damages from the quartet in what can only be described as a ludicrous use of the justice system.
On Friday, Kiffin and his fellow defenders began to trend on Twitter, also known as X, with the complaint for a civil case becoming public. Kiffin is named the top defendant on multiple pages filed by Keller.
Ole Miss Football HC Lane Kiffin: Named in Laughable Civil Case
Among needing to get ready to stay competitive in the hyper-competitive SEC, Ole Miss football head coach Lane Kiffin will now need to deal with a ludicrous civil case with him named as a defendant. On Thursday, Kiffin, Donald J. Trump, Ivanka Trump, and JD Vance were sued in federal court. The plaintiff, Amanda Anne Keller, is eyeing a laughable and made-up “$6 gazillion’ in unpaid labor. In the statement written by Keller regarding her entitlement to damages and compensation, she claims Kiffin received paychecks rightfully belonging to her. She also marked the Trumps as FBI employees and Vance as Florida’s governor.

Keller was arrested earlier this year in Jefferson Cunty, Alabama, for criminal trespassing and criminal mischief in the first degree causing $2,500 in damages. Keller, 42, had family members post-bond.
Kiffin: Sued for Copyright Infringement
Although Thursday’s civil suit against Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin is likely the ramblings of a crazy person, the frontman will need to answer for one count of copyright infringement filed against him earlier this week. Dr. Keith Bell, a psychologist and author, is suing Kiffin for two social media posts from 2016 and 2022, per The Clarion-Ledger. Bell filled in the Oxford Division of the Northern Mississippi District of the U.S. District Court after Kiffin failed to obey a cease-and-desist letter sent in 2016 and 2022. Kiffin allegedly shared and tweeted excerpts from Bell’s books. Kiffin remains unfazed about the lawsuit.
“I didn’t really pay attention to it,” Kiffin said of the case earlier this week. He continued, saying, “I’m not supposed to comment. I mean, what are we talking about? I will just say I’ve never read the book. I don’t even remember the quote that I tweeted or something. I’m not supposed to say that either.”
Lane Kiffin: Ole Miss Football Record
Lane Kiffin will enter his fifth season with Ole Miss football next season. Before Ole Miss, the 49-year-old posted two 11-3 seasons with the Florida Atlantic Owls in three years. Kiffin struggled in his inaugural year with Ole Miss, going 5-5 during the COVID-19-impacted 2020 season. However, the Ole Miss Rebels went 10-3 the following season, finishing 11th in the final College Football Playoff poll. After a disappointing 8-5 season in 2022, Kiffin and the Rebels went 11-2 last year, marking their most wins in program history.
The Rebels received a fantastic season from quarterback Jaxson Dart, with the passer accumulating 31 total touchdowns to five interceptions. Dart will return next fall. However, Ole Miss will need to replace the production led by superstar running back Quinshon Judkins as he left for Ohio State this past offseason.
