The Baltimore Ravens have the best record in the AFC right now but could potentially be without their star safety Kyle Hamilton as he suffered a knee injury in the 37-31 overtime home victory against the Los Angeles Rams. Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz reported that Kyle Hamilton suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain in the game and will be interesting to see if he misses some time.

Expect Baltimore to proceed cautiously, but Hamilton shouldn’t miss much time – if any.

Kyle Hamilton was the 14th pick in the 2022 NFL draft out of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He has played well for the season thus far as he has 69 total tackles (54 solo, 15 assisted) with three sacks, a forced fumble, a pair of interceptions and nine pass deflections.
It will be intriguing to see if Kyle Hamilton will be able to play in the Week 15 matchup on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars or if they opt to give him a week to recover from the injury.
Can the Baltimore Ravens win without Kyle Hamilton on the field in Week 15?
The Baltimore Ravens have looked like one of the most complete teams in all of the National Football League. They have an incredibly tough remainder of their schedule as it is listed below:
- Week 15: at Jacksonville Jaguars
- Week 16: at San Francisco 49ers
- Week 17: vs Miami Dolphins
- Week 18: vs Pittsburgh Steelers
The Jacksonville Jaguars are also dealing with a bunch of injuries this season, highlighted by quarterback Trevor Lawrence’s high ankle sprain. Despite suffering it on Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals, he played six days later yesterday against the Cleveland Browns.

Looking at the betting odds provided by ESPN Bet, the Ravens are considered 3.5-point favorites for the game on the road. They are healthier and should be able to control the game as they are the better overall team. If Kyle Hamilton does not find a way to make it on the field on Sunday, they still should be able to win this game as their defense around Hamilton should continue to play well.
Do not be surprised to see him off the field throughout the week in an attempt to recover a bit quicker than practicing but if he is able to play, it will be interesting to see how compromised he looks.
