One of the biggest subjects in the world today is whether biological Men should be allowed to compete in Women’s sports, and many sports personalities have different thoughts on the topic.
South Carolina Women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley wants anyone who considers themselves a woman to be allowed to participate in women’s sports, a strong position that many don’t agree with, including ESPN’s top college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit, who gave his opinion about whether men should be allowed to compete in women’s sports.
Kirk Herbstreit’s Strong Take
Herbstreit was taking questions on the social media account X on Tuesday, and one of the questions he answered was, “Do men belong in women’s sports? Time for influential men in sports media to stand up, Kirk.”
The former Ohio State quarterback responded, “Of course not. Ridiculous question.”

This comes a week after his College GameDay co-host Pat McAfee stated that men shouldn’t be competing in women’s sports after two people who tested with XY chromosomes were allowed to compete in the Women’s Olympic Boxing competition.
Many people agreed with Herbstreit’s take, and they went to social media to show their support. Here are some of their comments.
Thank you, Kirk.
We need to be more outspoken about this nonsense, it’s maddening.

Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be ridiculous anymore. It’s a real deal issue today.
