The Kansas City Chiefs have been the best team in the league this season after going undefeated through the first few weeks of 2024. While the team has not lost a game, many fans and analysts think they still have many issues, especially in their receiving room. With big trades starting to happen around the NFL, rumors for a legendary receiver to join the Chiefs have heated up.

Kansas City has been heavily rumored to pursue Tennessee Titans star DeAndre Hopkins before the trade deadline to add to their depleted receiving room. Hopkins has expressed interest in going to another team since the Titans cannot seem to get anything going offensively, and the Chiefs feel like the best destination for him.

After Davante Adams and Amari Cooper were traded to different teams, NFL fans raided social media, saying that it is only a matter of time until the Chiefs make the trade for Hopkins.

Hopkins has cemented himself as one of the best receivers to ever play the game, amounting to 12,530 receiving yards and 79 touchdowns. While the star is aging, he still shows signs that he can still play at a high level, but has not had the best production with the Titans. Pairing with a quarterback like Patrick Mahomes could remind everyone why he is considered one of the greats.

Do you think Kansas City will make the trade soon?
