The Kansas City Chiefs versus the Philadelphia Eagles was one of the most anticipated matchups of the season. It didn’t disappoint. A great comeback win by the Eagles with Patrick Mahomes trying his best to will his team to victory was wildly entertaining. The viewership numbers were off the charts.
The Super Bowl rematch between the Chiefs and Eagles averaged 28.9 million viewers on Monday Night Football.
That makes it the most-watched MNF game in over 25 years and easily the most-watched NFL game this season.
Monster numbers.

Kansas City Chiefs Vs. Philadelphia Eagles Viewership Numbers
The Super Bowl rematch drew a whopping 28.9 million viewers. Those numbers made it the most-watched Monday Night Football game in over 25 years and easily the highest-viewed game this year. There was no shortage of star power with Travis Kelce, Jalen Hurts, Jason Kelce, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and many more top-tier players hitting the field. These two teams could easily meet in the Super Bowl again so the NFL has to love these numbers from week 11.
NFL Is King
Every sport wishes it were the NFL. While the MLB, NBA, and NHL can draw big crowds, it is dwarfed by the NFL. The fact that a regular season game can draw this type of crowd shows the power that the sport has with fans. It isn’t just hardcore fans that are tuning in. Casual fans are happy to sit and watch a matchup of the NFL’s best. The Taylor Swift effect from Travis Kelce probably didn’t hurt either.
Will we see this matchup again in the postseason? There are plenty of other teams that are vying for a Super Bowl berth but these two teams clearly proved they can get to the final game again and people are interested.
