The Kansas City Chiefs are the last undefeated team remaining in the NFL after seven weeks. At 6-0, they appear to be well on track to win their third consecutive Super Bowl, especially now that they have acquired DeAndre Hopkins via trade with the Tennessee Titans.
Indeed, Kansas City’s dominance over the past several seasons have made them one of the most popular teams in the NFL. However, the personal life of one of their players, nine-time Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce, has made them on of the most popular teams in the entire world.
Of course, this is because Kelce is dating international popstar and 14-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift. For over a year, the All-Pro tight end has not been able to do much without some form of media knowing about it.
Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce Is Rumored to Be the Reason for a New Rule
Recently, the NFL and NFL Players Association agreed to a new rule that will move postgame post-practice interviews with players out of the locker room and to a designated area.
The new rule was said to be an effort to protect players’ privacy. However, one publication, Radar Online, claims to have sources that say the interviews are being moved out of locker rooms specifically to protect Kelce:
“While they league is pretending this is to product all players privates, everyone knows it is to protect Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.
“No one believes it’s just a coincidence that the new rules are being implemented now.”
This whole conversation about interviews being moved out of locker rooms came after several former NFL players accused team beat writers of staring at them while they changed or showered.
Kelce, along with his brother Jason, laughed about the situation on a recent episode of their podcast, New Heights. During their discussion, neither brother said they ever had a problem with reporters being in the locker room.

Based on both Kelce’s thoughts on the matter, one has to believe that Radar‘s sources are either wrong or just made this up.
