The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to bounce back after a tough loss to the Eagles on Monday night. They are going to have to do it without a couple of offensive pieces. Running back Jerick McKinnon and wide receiver Mecole Hardman are both out for week 12.

Kansas City Chiefs: Jerick McKinnon & Mecole Hardman Out
Hardman is dealing with a thumb injury that has kept him out of practice all week. The former Pro Bowler came over midseason from the Jets and has not done much for the Chiefs in 2023. He has in the past which is what made so many people high on the trade. McKinnon is dealing with a groin injury and has been limited all week. He didn’t make enough progress to play Sunday. McKinnon is a great pass-catching back and has reliable hands which this team needs.
Concern For The Chiefs?
After Monday night’s loss, there was a lot of concern about the state of the Chiefs offense. Patrick Mahomes is still the best quarterback in the NFL but his pass-catchers have not been great. They lead the league in drops with a couple of big ones happening on Monday night. While this team should easily make the playoffs, the lack of reliable pass-catchers is a concern. Travis Kelce is starting to show his age and if he isn’t open, this offense looks lost.
Can the Kansas City Chiefs bounce back? They will have to do it against a Raiders team that has found new life under interim head coach Antonio Pierce.
