Joy Taylor, former Fox Sports host, is clearly making most of her unemployment after being fired from the network last month. Taylor recently showed off her latest tattoo work from ink artist Chente Rios through an Instagram post. This is, of course, not the first time that the renowned sportscaster has been inked, having gotten a tattoo of three lilies in honor of her and her sisters more than two decades ago.
Apparently, Taylor wanted to add two more lilies to honor her brothers as well. Joy Taylor also revealed that she particularly chose stargazer lilies for her tattoos because this is her favorite flower.

“I got my foot tat 20 years ago with my younger sister. 3 stargazer lilies (my favorite flower) representing my sisters and me. I’ve always wanted something for my brothers, so I decided to add two more on my ankle. Thank you to the insanely talented @chente_rios for giving me new and ink and bringing my old one back to life! 🖤 @utgtattoo.co,” Joy Taylor wrote in her Instagram post.
Joy Taylor’s show, ‘Speak’ with Keyshawn Johnson, was cancelled along with numerous others and the popular sports host was suddenly left without a job. While the network did blame the cancellation on budget issues, many others felt it was because of Taylor’s name being mentioned in a lawsuit against Charlie Dixon.
Joy Taylor Calls Out Haters Of Male Cheerleaders With Bold Remarks
With no network and contract to tie her down, Joy Taylor seems to have finally found her voice and her gumption. A few days back, the former Fox Sports host called out conservatives who seemingly have a problem with male cheerleaders in the NFL.

Last week, the Minnesota Vikings showed off their two new male cheerleaders, Louie Conn and Blaize Shiek. While the move was wholly appreciated by many, there were still many others who disapproved and mocked the men, the Vikings franchise and the league in itself. Taylor called out these conservatives, with a line that is sure to prick their conscience, that is, if they have any.
“So teaching kids that slavery was not a big deal is acceptable but male cheerleaders is where ‘conservatives’ draw the line.” Joy Taylor said.
Taylor’s comments come at a time when many conservatives are trying to change the syllabus in American educational systems, mainly to try and erase the history of slavery in the country. According to these conservatives, slavery in America should not be given the strong negative stance it deserves.
