Joy Taylor, Fox Sports 1 host, was a proud aunt on Saturday when her nephew, Mason Taylo,r was drafted by the New York Jets. The 20-year-old will be the newest tight end of the New York Jets who selected him as the 42nd pick in the second round of the NFL draft.
Mason Taylor is coming to the NFL after playing two whole seasons with the LSU Tigers from 2022 to 2024. In his senior year with the LSU Tigers, Taylor managed a total of 55 receptions for 546 yards, scoring two touchdowns.

Mason Taylor is the son of former NFL player Jason Taylor, who is the brother of Joy Taylor. Jason Taylor played in the NFL from 1997 to 2011 after being selected by the Miami Dolphins as the 73rd pick in the third round of the draft. After retiring from the league, Jason Taylor started his coaching career. Currently, Jason Taylor is the defensive ends coach for the Miami Hurricanes.
The New York Jets are truly trying their best to do better in the next season after drafting talents like Mason Taylor in the 2025 NFL draft. In the 2024 NFL season, the Jets finished third in the AFC East after winning five games and losing 12.

A few hours before she was celebrating her nephew, Mason Taylor’s selection by the New York Jets in the NFL draft, Joy Taylor already stole the spotlight in the Taylor family with her infamous statements on her podcast ‘Two Personal’.
“Every year I get older, I’m like, ‘What am I gonna do?’ I have to have s*x every day, and I can’t, I’m not.” Joy Taylor said on the latest episode of her podcast ‘Two Personal’.

Joy Taylor, while known well for her bold remarks and her stunning career in the field of sports reporting and journalism, was named in a lawsuit a few months back. The lawsuit was filed by Noushin Faraji, a former Fox Sports employee. Faraji called Taylor ‘misogynistic, racist and ableist’ in the lawsuit. Apart from Taylor, Skip Bayless and other people have also been named in the trial. Joy Taylor has not commented on the lawsuit by Faraji.
