Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen continued his postseason losing streak against the Kansas City Chiefs in January’s AFC Championship Game. Allen and the Bills are 0-4 against the Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the playoffs
The Bills had several opportunities to beat the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead Stadium. However, two turnovers on downs in the second half cost Buffalo a chance to advance to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1993.
And a few calls didn’t go their way.
The Buffalo Bills’ AFC championship loss will haunt
In an interview with Rob Maaddi with the Associated Press, Allen revealed he’s still processing moments from the 32-29 loss to the Chiefs.
“It sucks,” Allen said. “Just sitting here thinking about everything that you could’ve done differently. I’m having dreams about certain plays that I wish I could have back. There’s no easy way about it. There’s 30 other teams right now sitting at home gonna be watching the Super Bowl from their couch, and we’re one of those teams.”

Allen plans to let his body rest before preparing to make a long run in the playoffs in 2025.

“I’m going to do everything thing that I can do to make sure that we’re not one of those teams going into the season next year,” Allen said. “I’ve got to let the body heal a little bit, but getting back to work and making sure I’m getting back to my mechanic work and just making sure I’m doing everything that I can do to help this team get over that hump and win a Super Bowl.”
Allen didn’t say what play or plays he regrets from the AFC championship. He’ll have several months to use those thoughts as fuel before September.
