Josh Allen is being blamed by many for the Buffalo Bills losing to the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC Championship Game. However, former NFL player Marcellus Wiley had nothing but good things to say about the 28-year-old quarterback. Wiley took to X to share his thoughts on Allen’s performance, remarking that the player did everything he could to help his team win.

In the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, the Chiefs managed to win with a finale score of 32-29. In that game, quarterback Josh Allen went for 237 yards, completing 22 passes out of 34 attempts, scoring twice. In terms of rushing, James Cook covered 85 yards, contributing 13 carries with a pair of TDs, while Mack Hollins took charge of defense with three receptions, with a solo score.

“You fought 17! Gave your team the chance. Had adversity in the first half & kept pushing. Did everything you had to in the 2nd half to earn extra minutes. That’s the way it goes when it’s good on good. This ain’t on you, you showed up in the most important moments @JoshAllenQB! #BillsMafia”  Marcellus Wiley tweeted through his X account.

Josh Allen has been playing for the Buffalo Bills since 2018 after being selected seventh overall by the team in the draft. Before that, Allen played college football for Reedley and the University of Wyoming. In the recently concluded NFL season, the 28-year-old quarterback has covered 3,731 yards, with 28 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Josh Allen Visibly Upset After Loss To Kansas City Chiefs

The defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs was definitely painful for the Buffalo Bills, particularly for quarterback Josh Allen. After the defeat, Allen was visibly broken but acknowledged the loss in the post-game conference. He also remarked that the Bills will be definitely winning the trophy in the next NFL season.

“It just shows why Bills Mafia is the best fan base in the world, even through all the hurt and disappointment they’ve endured for the entirety of Bill’s existence. We’re going to continue to turn every stone over, cross the T’s, and dot the I’s to bring Lombardi back here.” quarterback Josh Allen commented about the Buffalo Bills fan base.

In the same conference, Allen also went on to express his pride for his teammates and remarked that they “show up every day, work as hard as they can”. The quarterback also went on to mention that he definitely loves his teammates no matter the results of the tournament.
