North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick has made more headlines because of his relationship with Jordon Hudson lately than he has for his accomplishments on the football field. The 73-year-old six-time Super Bowl winner has been dating the 24-year-old beauty pageant contestant and [now former] cheerleader for well over a year, but their relationship has been at the center of the North Carolina football program for the past several weeks.
Of course, this is because of Hudson’s behavior during Belichick’s interview with CBS a few weeks ago, one that was supposed to help him publicize his new book. When asked about how he met his girlfriend, the 24-year-old can be heard off camera saying, “We’re not going to talk about that.”
And while that was the only incident aired by the network, they said it was far from the only incident. So frustrating and difficult was she to work with that CBS canceled their previously scheduled second interview with Belichick.
As it turns out, that may not be the only gig Hudson has cost the legendary head coach.
NFL Front Offices Were Concerned About Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson
As fans will recall, Belichick was dismissed as the head coach of the New England Patriots following the 2023 season. When this happened, many believed he would have a new job in the NFL in no time. However, no offers came his way.
And now everyone knows why.
Around the time that his time in New England came to an end, there was a viral video circulating the Internet of a shirtless Belichick leaving a house in the wee hours of the morning. As it turns out, this video, which was captured by an AirBnB ring camera, may have scared at least one team away from hiring the coaching legend.
Journalist Pablo Torre reported on his podcast, “One NFL executive whose team discussed hiring Bill Belichick last offseason … says their front office saw the video, didn’t know what to make of this video when it got circulated online.”

This sentiment is one that is shared by many people in Belichick’s own family, as well as among his former players. It certainly seems that the head coach, known for his no-nonsense persona, has done a major 180-degree turn because of Hudson.
Hopefully it does not cost him his current job at North Carolina, but the way things are going, it very well could.
