By now, just about everyone familiar with Bill Belichick and his legendary coaching career are just as familiar with Jordon Hudson, his 24-year-old girlfriend. As far as the public knows, the couple, who have a 49-year age gap, have been together for at least the last two years, dating back to his final season as the head coach and general manager of the New England Patriots.
But while their relationship was kept under wraps while he was coaching the Patriots, it is at the center of everything North Carolina football-related now.
Jordon Hudson Received Criticism Following a Bill Belichick Interview with CBS
There have, of course, been numerous reports involving Belichick and Hudson this year, despite the fact that the Tar Heels have not played a single regular season game with the six-time Super Bowl winner at the helm.
Unfortunately, these reports have not painted either Hudson or Belichick in a good light. One of the most notorious of these is the fallout from the coach’s disastrous interview with CBS.
The network had agreed to interview the NFL coaching legend so that he could promote his new book. However, per their journalists and crew, Hudson made the experience difficult with her constant interruptions. One of these was left in the final cut of the interview.
When interviewers asked Belichick how he met Hudson, the 24-year-old can be heard of camera saying, “We are not talking about that.”
The experience was so awkward for CBS that they cancelled a previously scheduled second interview.

Following the CBS disaster, Belichick appeared on “The Pivot,” which is hosted by former NFL star Ryan Clark. Many who watched this interview felt that something was off, and as it turns out, there was.
According to Ben Axelrod of Awful Announcing, Channing Crowder, co-host of “The Pivot,” revealed that the 24-year-old Hudson controlled just about every aspect of their sit down with Belichick.
“His old lady is different,” Crowder said. “She lurks. It’s weird to know him as Coach Belichick running the entire organization as GM, head coach, talent coordinator, all that stuff, and then to see this tiny little 95-pound girl pretty much telling him what to do.”
Crowder explained that Hudson did not want him to be involved in the opening of the interview, and that the questions asked to Belichick, which centered on his CBS interview, were scripted by her. The whole exchange was meant to help the couple save face and paint the network in a bad light.
It seems as if the more damage control they try to do, the worse they make it for themselves.
