Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow signed a five-year, $275 million contract extension with the team in September 2023. It was the second-biggest deal in NFL history next to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ 10-year, $450 million contract. Being among the highest-paid players in the league, Burrow has a license to spend how much he wants.
On the premiere episode of the HBO show “Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North” on Tuesday, Burrow revealed to teammates Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins that he bought one of the 10 replicas of the Batmobile used in the filming of “The Dark Knight” trilogy. The purchase reportedly cost him $3 million.
“Have I told you I bought a Batmobile?” Burrow told Chase and Higgins during a practice last week. “I don’t get it for like a year, but I bought one.”
Burrow said he will have to wait for a year before it will be delivered to his home, and he’s counting the days until he receives it. He also told Chase that he plans on committing to the gimmick by purchasing an “expensive Batsuit and some armor” of his own and becoming the Dark Knight himself.
He even joked about entering the stadium in the Batmobile and wearing the Batsuit for their Halloween game.

Joe Burrow can’t drive his Batmobile to the games
The $3 million Batmobile Tumblers were manufactured by Relevance International, the same company that runs the website “Bruce Wayne X,” which sells products inspired by the legendary DC Comics superhero.
The Batmobile replica has a Powertrain 6.2L LS3 525 HP Engine with 486 FT lbs torque, jet engine simulation, a smoke screen delivery system, and imitation gun turrets.
The production of the replica Batmobiles has been officially sanctioned by Warner Bros. Studios, the same company that produced Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight” trilogy. They are fully functional replicas of the vehicle that Batman used in the films. Unfortunately, while they are functional, they are not road-legal.
Even if Joe Burrow receives his Batmobile, he won’t be able to fulfill his dream of driving it to the games. Instead, he’ll just have to build a special garage or showroom for it in his home. At the very least, he could still wear a Batsuit for the games.
Aside from the Batmobile Tumbler, Burrow also owns a number of luxury cars, including a Porsche Taycon Turbo, an Acura NSX, and an Endurance Truck from Lordstown, of which he’s a brand partner.
