Former President Joe Biden, in the middle of the revelation of his cancer diagnosis, is facing controversy as a new book alleged a huge scheme of cover-up involving a web of people from within the Democratic party who hid the truth about the condition of the former president.
In one of his recent videos, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith gave his honest thoughts on how the revelations made by CNN reporter Jake Tapper about Joe Biden in his new book would affect the efforts of the Democratic Party for the 2028 elections.
“Time and time and time again, the Democrats have eaten their own and spit them out,” Smith said. “Hell, listening to Bernie Sanders speak, one would argue you’re doing it to him. This is bad. This is very bad.”
“And I think that as Jake Tapper goes around the circuit promoting his book and the more facts we learn from this book, I think irreparable harm is going to be done to the Democrats,” he added. “I think the midterms are in jeopardy. I think the presidency in 2028 is in jeopardy. It’s really bad, y’all.”

New Book Exposes Cover-Up Involving Joe Biden
A new book by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson, titled “Original Sin: President Biden‘s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” has exposed shocking details about Joe Biden’s final months in office. The book alleged that Biden’s closest aides and advisors actively concealed his physical and cognitive decline from the public, raising serious concerns about transparency within his administration.

According to excerpts, Biden’s struggles became evident during the 2024 presidential debate against Donald Trump, where he appeared disoriented and unfocused, leading to widespread speculation about his ability to serve another term.
The book detailed how Democratic insiders worked behind the scenes to limit Biden’s public appearances, ensuring that his moments of confusion were kept out of the spotlight. Reports suggested that even Hollywood figures like George Clooney were alarmed by Biden’s condition, with Clooney allegedly feeling “shaken to his core” after witnessing Biden’s difficulty recognizing him at a fundraiser.

Additionally, the book claims that discussions were held about whether Biden would need a wheelchair if he won re-election, further fueling concerns about his health
Despite these revelations, Joe Biden’s team maintained that he was still capable of fulfilling his presidential duties, though critics argue that the extent of his decline was deliberately hidden from voters.
