The New York Jets (2-5) and New England Patriots (1-6) will square off on Sunday between two teams who are desperate for a win. New York, however, may be more desperate of the two. Winning two games out of your first seven is not what you expect from an Aaron Rodgers led team.
However, New York had some pretty massive new to announce that could help turn around their season.
Jets Announce Season-Altering News Ahead Of Matchup Vs. Patriots

According to NFL Reporter Connor Hughes:
Haason Reddick will play against the #Patriots and does not have a snap count limit. #Jets
Getting Reddick on the field for this defense is massive news. He is a game changing pass rusher. Here is a look at his career stats so far:

The New York Jets reached an agreement Sunday with All-Pro pass rusher Haason Reddick to end his holdout that has been ongoing since he was acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles back in March. New York also traded for All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams in hopes of sparking an inconsistent passing game. That will only get better as the weeks go one.
Reddick expects to return to the team this week, as the two sides work toward a long-term contract extension. Reddick’s dramatic reversal comes less than a week after he hired Drew Rosenhaus as his agent, just after his former agency terminated him as a client.
A combination of two impact players at premium positions, one on offense and one on defense, may change the trajectory of this season.
