Jerry Jones’ granddaughter, Haley Anderson, recently shared a post of herself and other family members on a rafting trip that they took down in Colorado. Anderson, who currently works for her grandfather’s NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys as a brand coordinator, can be seen flashing her classic wide smile at the camera along with the rest of the family members, all of whom are wearing bright yellow helmets with lifejackets.
Haley Anderson is the daughter of Charlotte Jones, Jerry Jones’ daughter and also the executive vice-president of the Dallas Cowboys. Just like her daughter Haley, Charlotte has also taken a major interest in the team’s branding and is their chief brand officer.
“Family rafting trip!” Haley Anderson captioned her Instagram post, sharing a picture of herself and her family members before going rafting in Colorado.
Jerry Jones has managed to bring several of his own family members into the Dallas Cowboys franchise, ensuring that the business stays in the family. Jones, with all the hard work he has put into the franchise, will be expecting a much better season from them in the upcoming football year.
The Dallas Cowboys did not do too well in the previous NFL season, especially after starting quarterback Dak Prescott’s severe hamstring injuries. After he was sidelined, the demise of the team was pretty quick and the Cowboys failed to recover after that.
However, the team has undergone several changes during their NFL offseason, promoting offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to head coach. Hopefully, their strategic moves will help them in the upcoming football season.
Jerry Jones’ Cowboys Called Out For Too Much Branding By Colin Cowherd
On another note, Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys recently faced the wrath of renowned sportscaster Colin Cowherd. Cowherd ripped into the Cowboys franchise, first for skipping out on talented running backs like Saquon Barkley, and second, for focusing too much on branding rather than winning.
For years together, the Cowboys have maintained their label as ‘America’s Team’, not because of their performance, but purely because of their branding. However, the team’s exact records have nowhere been close to the popularity and fame they enjoy, all simply because of their marketing ploys.
Cowherd called the Cowboys a “luxury brand that feels like they spend way too much in the shop” and his words cannot be truer. In their entire time of existence, the Cowboys have only won five Super Bowls, a number too small for a team which has so much money and affluence.
