Jayden Daniels, quarterback for the Washington Commanders, recently wished his mother, Regina Jackson, a happy birthday. Daniels shared a video tribute on his Instagram account where he can be seen going to his mother before one of his games in the previous NFL season. Jackson has been a stalwart factor in Daniels’ success, especially as she takes care of his finances and investments as his manager.
Daniels has been playing for the Commanders since the 2024 NFL season after being selected as the second pick in the very first round of the draft. Before entering the league, the 24-year-old quarterback played college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils and the LSU Tigers. In his first season with the Commanders, Daniels earned the title of NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
“Happy g day to the goat herself,” Jayden Daniels captioned his Instagram post, sharing a video clip of himself and his mother.
Regina Jackson has always been known for her active involvement in her son, Jayden Daniels’ life. Apart from his business ventures, Jackson has also been pretty vocal about having her say in who her son dates. In her interviews and public appearances, Jackson has admitted to being worried about her son being influenced by future girlfriends, and as a result, takes extra efforts to protect him from ‘gold diggers’. For this, she has received mixed reactions from the public.

Jayden Daniels Shows Off Weight Gain Before Upcoming NFL Season
Meanwhile, it looks like his time in the NFL is treating Jayden Daniels pretty well. The young quarterback was recently seen looking all bulked up, which can definitely be useful for his role as a quarterback for the Washington Commanders. When asked about his weight game, Daniels confessed that he did not have a certain plan to gain healthy weight, and simply went along with his intuition and worked out.

Daniels and the rest of the Commanders will be locking horns with the New York Giants in Week 1 of their upcoming NFL season. Before that, Washington will be warming up with three preseason games, against the New England Patriots, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Baltimore Ravens.

In the previous NFL season, the Commanders finished second in the NFC East after winning 12 games and losing five. They made it to the NFC Championships and met the Philadelphia Eagles, losing to them with a final score of 55-23.
