James Cook, running back for the Buffalo Bills, is definitely getting his contract extension from the team in some way or another, according to his recent statements at the training camp. Cook’s presence in the training camp was certainly a surprise, especially since the talented running back has made it clear over the past couple of months that he is not happy with the way that the team is treating him and his demands.

Cook also listed his home in Buffalo for sale, which led to further speculations that the running back may actually leave the team for another one soon. While the enlistment for sale was anywhere related to Cook’s discontentment with the team is not actually known.
“I’m never gonna give up. I deserve what I want. It’s gonna get done, wherever it happens at.” James Cook said to reporters on Thursday’s session at the training camp with the rest of the Buffalo Bills.
“Quarterback. The fans. It’s a great organization. I mean, they drafted me. They drafted me for a reason I feel like. I want to be here. I want to spend the rest of my career here,” Cook replied when reporters asked him as to why he is so keen on staying with the Buffalo Bills.

James Cook has been playing with the Buffalo Bills since the 2022 NFL season after the team bagged him in the second round of the draft. The running back will be entering the final year of his rookie contract with the team and is seeking a major upgrade. Cook and the Bills will be soon kicking off their 2025 campaign with a face-off against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.
James Cook Makes Adam Schefter Eat His Words
James Cook’s making it to the training camp with the rest of the Buffalo Bills was definitely a treat to many eyes, while also being shocking to some. Cook was originally predicted to miss the training camp and not even make it to the regular season with the Bills by several NFL analysts, including Adam Schefter. A few weeks back, Schefter remarked that Cook will not be seen in Buffalo because he listed his home in the city for sale.

However, it looks like James Cook managed to shock everyone with his surprise appearance at the training camp. Cook is one of the most integral players in the Bills current roster, not including starting quarterback Josh Allen.
