Ja’Marr Chase is a corner stone for the Cincinnati Bengals and one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.  His 5,400+ receiving yards and 46 touchdowns in his first 4 seasons earned him a massive contract extension.  That contract will pay him $112 million guaranteed.

However, there is one fan who turned into an enemy of Chase.

Although Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase loves his fans, sometimes he prefers to move around without being approached:

While on a flight to an unknown location, Chase had a hoodie on and had his face covered to avoid detection. Unfortunately, he just happened to be the presence of an autograph seeker.

The man was denied the opportunity to get one, so the fan decided to blow his cover.

As the plane seemingly landed at its destination, the unknown male fan yelled out to all of the passengers to speak to the Bengals wideout.

The fan said: “Should’ve signed that auto and I wouldn’t have blown your cover”

Chase has not spoken out about the incident and is unlikely to do so. He is not obligated to sign autographs while in public.

The Cincinnati Bengals made huge moves this offseason after reaching contract extensions with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Chase’s deal was for four years and $161 million, which, according to NFL Network, will make him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

Higgins signed for four years and $115 million, per the report.

The deal keeps Cincinnati’s top two receivers and the core of the Bengals’ explosive passing game, along with quarterback Joe Burrow, intact.

The 25-year-old Chase won the league’s triple crown for wide receivers, leading the league in touchdown catches (17), receptions (127), and receiving yards (1,708).

It was the first time a receiver achieved the feat since the Los Angeles Rams’ Cooper Kupp in 2021.

Higgins dealt with injuries last year, but he was 10th in receiving yards per game (75.9), according to ESPN Research. He also caught 10 touchdowns in 12 appearances.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (1) runs pass Dallas Cowboys cornerback DaRon Bland (26) in the 4th quarter for a touchdown during Monday Night Football at AT&T Stadium in Arlington,Texas on Monday, December 9, 2024. The Bengals won 27-20.
