Jalen Ramsey’s trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers has got the entire NFL world reeling. While Ramsey and Steelers fans might be excited about the talented cornerback playing for Pittsburgh in the upcoming season, there is one person on the Miami Dolphins roster who is truly sad to see his friend go.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill reacted to the news of Jalen Ramsey with a Will Smith GIF from ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’, showing his disappointment at the cornerback leaving the team. Ramsey played a couple of seasons with the Dolphins, but the wide receiver did not manage to put out any major impressive performances.

Jalen Ramsey’s trade to the Steelers has many NFL analysts discussing the pros and cons. While Ramsey may not be such a stellar player, the 30-year-old cornerback definitely packs a punch of versatility, which might be the main reason why the Steelers went with him and let Minkah Fitzgerald go.
In bringing Ramsey to their roster, the Pittsburgh Steelers are definitely strengthening their defense. Pittsburgh’s head coach, Mike Tomlin, has been known for his obsession with defense, and Ramsey’s trade is almost definitely his baby.
At the same time, the Pittsburgh Steelers are also not doing too bad in terms of offense. With Aaron Rodgers heading their attack in the upcoming season, the Steelers seem like they have pretty great chances of making it to the playoffs.
Jalen Ramsey’s Steelers Need Another WR, Right Away
While the Pittsburgh Steelers are storming confidently into the 2025 NFL season with Aaron Rodgers at the wheel, the team quite visibly lacks one very important person – a wide receiver. The Steelers currently have DK Metcalf, whom they brought into their locker room from the Seattle Seahawks. This move was highly appreciated by Pittsburgh fans.
However, there is currently no one flanking Metcalf on the other side, and this has been raised as an issue by both fans and analysts several times during the offseason. Hopefully, the Steelers bring in another talented wide-out before the regular season kicks off.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been making monumental changes to their strategy and their squad during the offseason in preparation for the upcoming NFL season. Perhaps the most important change has been in bringing veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers to their roster. Rodgers himself is not exactly a long-term solution for the team since he recently revealed that this next season might be his last in the league before he hangs up his cleats for good.
