Jalen Milroe, quarterback who last played for the Alabama Crimson Tide, will be a perfect fit for the New York Giants according to NFL analyst, Dan Orlovsky. In a video clip shared by NFL on ESPN, Orlovsky can be heard saying that New York Giants will need to choose Milroe in the second round of the NFL draft, where the quarterback is expected to be present at.
Jalen Milroe played his entire college football career with the Alabama Crimson Tide, managing a total of 2,844 passing yards and scoring 16 touchdowns in his last appearance for the team. If Milroe does indeed go to the New York Giants, he will play alongside other quarterbacks like Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston who have been recently added to the group.
“If I could hand pick one team for Jalen Milroe, it would be the New York Giants. This would be the ideal situation, this would be the perfect place for both the player and the organization.” Dan Orlovsky can be heard saying in the video clip.
“Been saying this for 2 months now. Perfect for both.” Dan Orlovsky tweeted while reposting the video clip on his X account.

The New York Giants performed very poorly in the 2024 NFL season and will try to do better in the upcoming one. Last time out, the Giants finished at the bottom of the NFC East, winning only three games and losing 14. The Giants played their very last game of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles, losing the game with a shabby 20-13.
The Giants have been desperate trying to rebuild their offense and have brought in veteran quarterback Russell Wilson for this. Apart from this, they have also roped in Jameis Winston. Meanwhile, if the New York Giants do draft Jalen Milroe, they will be adding plenty more talent to their roster.

Jalen Milroe’s NFL Draft Invitation Seen As Perplexing
On another note, Jalen Milroe’s invitation to the 2025 NFL Draft is being considered as confusing. Usually, personal invites are only reserved for those football players who are definitely first-round picks.

However, Jalen Milroe has not put up too many impressive performances, and is still considered to be a definite second-round pick. Milroe has also reported to have accepted the invite. While several teams are showing interest in the quarterback, the best fit for him would be the New York Giants as per ESPN analyst, Dan Orlovsky.
