The Jacksonville Jaguars got a huge win over the Houston Texans on Sunday putting them in the driver’s seat for the division and in the mix for the top seed in the conference. However, they will have to make the final push without one of their starting tackles. Tackle Cam Robinson injured his knee on Sunday and will likely be out for three to six weeks.
#Jaguars OT Cam Robinson suffered a knee injury on Sunday, and sources say he has a recovery time of 3-6 weeks. That makes him an Injured Reserve candidate, but barring a setback, he is expected back for the playoffs.

Jacksonville Jaguars Cam Robinson Injures Knee
There is good news and bad news with this injury. The bad news is that Robinson could land on the IR or miss the entire rest of the regular season. The good news is that NFL insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that he is expected back for the playoffs. This would be a huge boost for the team going into the postseason. Robinson has been protecting the blind side of Trevor Lawrence for most of the season. The former second-round pick has been playing well and the team will need to find a way to protect Lawrence without him.
A Push For The One Seed?
Can the Jaguars actually get the top seed in the AFC? There isn’t a dominant team in the AFC like there is in the NFC. There are four teams, including the Jaguars, that currently sit at 8-3. If any of these teams go on a little run, it could make the difference between playing wild card weekend or resting at home. In the case of Robinson, the Jaguars would love to give him an additional week to recover before having to play playoff football. It’s in play but the Jaguars will need to finish the season strong.
While it stinks for the short term, the Jacksonville Jaguars have to be happy that the Cam Robinson injury isn’t season-ending. Can they get the one seed?
