The NFL season is slowly approaching and many bettors are looking to make money this upcoming season. Why not bet on the entire season? Here are some NFL Futures bets you can place with the best odds.
Division Winners Parlay (+1555)
Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Bucs, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles
For starters I really love this parlay with the Bills, Bucs, and Packers being the favorites in their division and two win their respective conferences. I think the Packers without Davante Adams will be good enough to win their division which might be closer for second this year with the Lions improving.
The Bucs have no one in their division that can compete with them aside of the Saints who seem to have their number but will still not be able to win the division. The Colts and Eagles are the two teams to give the parlay these odds.
The Colts at (-115) are my favorite to win this division with Matt Ryan at QB. Last season with Wentz they went 9-8 and missed the playoffs after a week 18 loss to Jacksonville. They played better then their record showed and with MVP candidate Johnathan Taylor leading the way I believe they will win this division. The Titans seemed to not improve their roster this offseason but get worse losing Julio Jones and AJ Brown.
Philadelphia to win the division at (+185) may have some people scratching their heads but they made the biggest improvement this offseason in the NFC East. In the last 17 years there has been no back to back division champs here and with the Cowboys getting worse I think the Eagles take over.
Adding WR AJ Brown, CB James Bradbury, S Jaquiski Tartt, and drafting DT Jordan Davis and LB Nakobe Dean, the Eagles improved as a team and will win this division by the strength of the run game and defense.
Los Angeles Chargers – Team With Best Record Regular Season (+1600)
This is an interesting pick for a team who finished 9-8 and missed the playoffs in 2021. I think the tremendous additions to their defense with Khalil Mack, JC Jackson, and Bryce Callahan are enough to help this team finish division champs and with the best record in the NFL. I like this pick because of the value at +1600 odds.
In 2021 they could have easily finished at 13-4 which would have been tied for the best record in 2021. They lost by 7 or less in 4 out of their last 6 losses during the season including two overtime games against the Chiefs and Raiders. I think its a longshoremen this happens with the division getting stronger but I like the odds on this.
Josh Allen to Win MVP(+700)
I think this year is either Herbert or Allen’s year to win the MVP. Allen emerged into stardom last season and fell 1 play short of an AFC Championship after falling to the Chiefs. I think this year with Tyreek Hill on the Dolphins if they do have to face the Chiefs in the playoffs they will win the game.
In 2021 Allen finished with 4407 yards and 36 TDs to 15 Int. He had better numbers than 2021 MVP Rodgers but a worse TD to Int ratio. Allen finished top 5 in the MVP race in 2021 and this could be his year. The Bills are the favorites to win the Super Bowl and an MVP Josh Allen will be the reason they get there.
Johnathan Taylor to Win MVP (+5000)/Offensive Player of the Year (+1000)
In today’s NFL Passing is the name of the game and QBs are putting up almost 5000 yards. Last season Johnathan Taylor broke out with almost 2000 rushing yards and almost 20 rushing touchdowns. The Colts leaned on the run game and JT was the front runner for MVP. Even though this is turning into a quarterback award If anybody outside a Quarterback can win the MVP its JT.
The odds are crazy but with the way the Colts offense looks and with an aging Matt Ryan, he can put up similar numbers this season. If you don’t wanna do MVP then Offensive Player of the Year is the next best option. He didn’t win in 2021 because Cooper Kupp had an historic season winning the triple crown and being the fourth receiver to ever do it.
