The Indiana Hoosiers at the end of the 2023 college football season were wondering what the future of the football program would be like. Fast forward one year later and they are in the college football playoffs with an 11-1 record under head coach Curt Cignetti. The Indiana Hoosiers will be facing the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the postseason.
Indiana all of a sudden could become a place where high school recruits will want to play college football. Cignetti has been successful in his first season with the program and other places he has been with in the past.
Indiana Hoosiers Release 2025 Schedule
On Wednesday, the Indiana Hoosiers 2025 schedule was released for the college football season.

They will open up the season on August 30 against the Old Dominion Monarchs. The BIG10 Conference schedule will be a little harder next season. The Hoosiers will not be facing the Michigan Wolverines or the Ohio State Buckeyes next season, but they will open up conference play on September 20 against the Illinois Fighting Illini.
Even though Illinois didn’t make the playoffs this year, they finished with a 9-3 record this year. They will also face the Oregon Ducks on the road on October 11 and the Penn State Nittany Lions on November 8. The Indiana Hoosiers will also face the Wisconsin Badgers the following week and then face rivals the Purdue Boilermakers on the road on November 29.

The Indiana Hoosiers ‘ conference schedule should not be a problem for them next season. The BIG10 Conference schedule will be a little bit harder for them next year and there is a chance that the Hoosiers could take a step back in 2025. Also, the Hoosiers fanbase is very curious about the Bison logo on the schedule announcement, but the fanbase is looking forward to making noise in the playoffs first.
